I’m just following up with something I said last night that I’d do regarding the rhythm changes in To Music. I’m having David attach a document that I’ve written up on why I’ve made those decisions with supporting documentation. It begins with a little background and terminology and I’ve included a selection of primary source excerpts on the subject at the end. You’ll also find links to Schubert’s holograph manuscript and the original solo setting of the piece, which has things that the arranger left out. Happy reading!
